You’ve always loved the way poppies sway in the breeze, brightening the day for you.  Just before they bloom, the buds hang down on their stems as though they are dreaming of what’s to come.  Then they unfurl their petals revealing their dramatic interiors.  Like the poppy, you may appear soft and delicate, yet you are strong enough to stand on your own and reveal your true colors.  Red poppies symbolize pleasure and imagination, white poppies mean consolation, and yellow poppies mean success.  A Chinese superstition says that you will get lucky by smelling the poppy three times a day. Wear your own garden of poppies to remind yourself of your dreams, goals and pleasures.
